I am a Chartered Physiotherapist with a wealth of experience treating musculoskeletal conditions: disorders affecting bones, joints and muscles. I love working with people to help them recover from illness or injury and to discover the power of Clinical Pilates.
My purpose is to help people to achieve their goals whether it is to manage pain or to allow them to participate in activities they enjoy. My philosophy in my own life is that prevention is better than cure and the role that appropriate exercise has to play in this is key for me.
I have spent my career developing and refining my knowledge and skills to become an expert movement coach.
I am passionate about the power of movement to reduce pain and promote wellbeing.
After injuring my back as a young physiotherapist and suffering with intermittent low back pain I discovered Pilates and in 2005 attended my first Pilates training course and I have never looked back.
As a woman of a certain age I am all too aware of the effects of the menopause on mine and my clients bodies. I have spent some considerable time developing a Bone Healthy Pilates Programme now available online.
